Start with how things actually work

I help companies stop rebuilding context from scratch.

I bring together what lives in conversations, documents and decisions into a working model. We use it to take one important piece of work through to a result, then learn from what actually happened.

Daniel DahanI build systems around the company, so people can work at their best.

The guiding principle

Systems should serve people.
Not the other way around.

I begin with how the company and its people work today. An ideal model drawn up in advance cannot tell us that.

The first test is whether the system helps people see more clearly, make choices and act, without adding another tool they have to maintain.

It is worth talking when

Important work gets done.
But no one can see the whole picture.

01

Every status update has to be pieced together from emails, documents and conversations.

02

One person holds everything together, and work slows down without them.

03

Corrections fix today’s problem but leave the next round unchanged.

An example from practice

The analysis revealed a pattern the owner had never noticed.

The system independently gathered source data on the content and its performance, then analysed it. It identified a previously overlooked pattern that was holding the content back.

The discovery surprised the owner, who had spent years refining his craft. We applied the scientific method: treated the insight as a hypothesis, created new content based on it and immediately put it to the test in practice. The final choice of topics and scripts remained a human decision.

If you recognise the problem

Start with one important challenge. We can work out what it needs together.
